2. Present continuous Tense

General format=Subject+H.V+Verb+ing+ Object

Sound of Sentence= रहा है / रही है/रहे है

Subject	Sound of Sentence	H.V=Helping Verb
He	रहा है	Is
She	रही है	Is
It(i.e-may be machine)	रही है	Is
I	रहा है	Am
We	रहे है	Are
You	रहे है	Are
They	रहे है	Are

Now General format in accordance with the two different categories of subjects.

When subject are He/She/It the general format of present continuous tense modified to,

Format=subject+is + verb1+ing+ object

Meaning= It sounds  रहा है / रही है/  रहे है for He/She/It respectively.

verb1=First form of verb   and   verb1+ing= First form of verb1+ing

Like consider verb1=go, so It become, verb1+ing=going

Consider verb1=run so it become, verb1+ing=Runing

Example:

Present Continuous Tense	Meaning in Hindi
He is going to school.	वो स्कूल जा रहा है
She is going to school.	वो स्कूल जा रही है
It is running on the road.	वो सड़क पर दोड़ रही है

Notice:जैसा के आपने देखा ऊपर के sentences में (हिंदी sentences पर धयान दे) आखिर में हमें मिलता है (रहा है / रही है/रहे है).ये sentences पर धयान देने से पता चला के sound of present continuous  हमेशा (रहा है / रही है/रहे है) निकलती है.

निचे के भी sentences पर कुपया ध्यान दे,यही sound,sentence के आखिर में निकलती है.सिर्फ subjects बदल जाते है परन्तु - रहा है / रही है/रहे है -की आवाज़ ही नक़लती है..

When subject is  I, the general format of present continuous tense is  modified to,

Format=subject+am + verb1+ing+ object

Meaning= It sounds रहा है   for I(subject)

When subject are We/You/They, the general format of present continuous tense become

Format=subject+are + verb1+ing+ object

Meaning= It sounds रहे है  for We/You/They(subject) respectively.

Example:

Present Continuous Tense	Meaning in Hindi
I am going to school.	मै स्कूल जा रहा हूं
We are going to school.	हम स्कूल जा रहे है
You are going to school	तुम स्कूल जा रहे हो
They are going to school.	वो स्कूल जा रहे है

So now you have understood the format of present continuous tense using different subject. Now let us start making the some more present continuous tense using differente Vebs.

Examples:

Simple Present Tense Example with different Verbs	Meaning in Hindi
He is writing a letter	वो एक पत्र लिख रहा है
She is speaking in English	वो इंगलिस में बात कर रही है
It(Fan) is moving faster	पंखा तेज घूम रहा है
I am working in the school	में स्कूल में काम कर रहा हूं
We are watching  a serial	हम सेरिअल देख रहा है
You are hating me	तुम मुझसे नफरत कर रहे हो
They are playing in the garden	वो गार्डन में खेल रहे है

Exercise: Start making sentences in present continuous tense using the following verbs with different subjects like, He/She/It and I/We/You/They,

Verb=Verb1=fight, understand, walk, teach, sweep, tell, listen, read, clean  

Verb1+ing= fighting, understanding, walking, teaching, sweeping, telling, listening, reading, cleaning.

Present Continuous Tense	Meaning in Hindi
He is fighting  with enemies	वो दुश्मनों से लड़ रहा है
She is understanding  chapter better	वो चैप्टर अच्छा समझ रही है
It(may be car) is runing on the road	कार सड़क पर चल रही है
I am teaching  English grammar	मै इंग्लिश ग्रामर सिखा रहा हूं
We are sweeping the hall	हम हॉल साफ़ कर रहे है
You are telling me wrong definition	तुम मुझे गलत तारीफ बता रहे हो
They are listening to principle	वो प्रिंसिपल की बात सुन रहे है

 Now let us change the subjects with some name like He=Pankaj, She=aaliya

Pankaj is fighting with enemies	पंकज दुश्मनों से लड़ रहा है
Aaliya is understanding  chapter better	आलिया चैप्टर अच्छे से समज रही है
It(may be car) is running on the road	कार सड़क पर चल रही है
I am teaching  English grammar	मै इंगलिस ग्रामर सिखा रहा हु
Attendants are  sweeping the hall	नोकर हॉल साफ़ कर रहे है
You are telling  me wrong definition	तुम मुझे गलत दतारीफ़बताते रहे हो
Parents are Listening to Principal	पेरेंट्स प्रिन्सिप्अल की सुन रहे है
